Well I’m at home now – got here yesterday at 3.30pm to lots of flowers and cards. Thank you so much, they are lovely to have around, they brighten my day.
It has been the longest and shortest week in my life and round 1 is almost complete. We still don’t know any more than before surgery really – that will be the beginning of round 2.
Just to say surgery lasted over four and a half hours, and recovery was as long again. I was back on the ward after nine and a half hours. Hate to boast, but I can do all the exercises given to me so far, including the advanced ones for 7 weeks hence!
