It has been exactly two weeks since surgery, which I have come to learn is pioneering surgery in the UK since 2010 with not many women having what I have had done. Still tired though, on painkillers and I still have the drain in situ. I also have a large numb patch at the back of my arm, pain and tension under the right armpit and I am slowly getting a raised right shoulder. Lots to work on then!
I had my first walk yesterday along the canal – it was a lovely day – and I bumped into Margaret R. Lovely to see her and nice to have her company for a short time.
Thank you for the continuing cards, flowers and best wishes. All give me that lift we all like to get when things aren’t too good. I feel really happy I know so many lovely, kind and warm people.
