Doesn’t time fly when you’re having a good time! I can also say time passes very differently when you are ill. Managing the effects of chemotherapy is proving to be an almost full time job where you also think of little else.

Once again the experience wasn’t a good one. I again had to go back into hospital for fluids and IV drugs – sounds fab doesn’t it – and was eventually home by 2.00am. I hadn’t been able to keep things down since mid afternoon, even the drugs didn’t help

Since then it has been a battle to eat/drink and not feel as nauseous, tired or anxious. I keep having to remind myself of the following…

  • it is for a good outcome that I am doing this – there is a reason for chemotherapy
  • it is for a limited time frame, and come September I may even be back teaching!

Once again many of you  have left me feeling very humble, but grateful. The cards and flowers I have received have been and are fabulous. Thank you for taking the time to do such things.

Lastly – no hair! I wonder how you would take to a bald exercise pilates teacher? Apparently I have a good-shaped head and this is fab according to friends. Would you humour me in class if I took my scarf off?
