Hi, well it has been three weeks of counting down to the next chemotherapy and of working out how I feel. It hasn’t been a great three weeks – didn’t eat as well as I might, didn’t drink as well as I might, and to top it all we had half term, preparation for Tom’s exams and I caught a mild infection. This put me in hospital over the weekend as I had a low blood count and temperature. I came out on Monday. Thank you Di for visiting too, it was lovely of you to drop in on your busy Sunday morning.

It didn’t stop the chemotherapy on Thursday though. How anxious was I… But I had been relaxed after some reflexology from M, a sedative and a good chat to the doctors and counsellor. But hey, we are half way through. As of now I go onto a different type of chemo for the last three sessions!! A whole new ball game again.

Once again thank you for the cards, flowers, texts and emails – they are wonderful to have. When things aren’t great, one of more of them turn up and remind me I had a life outside cancer and chemotherapy.

Thank you again.

Love Helen x
